Sherisse Richards (she/her) is an Educator, Instructional Designer, and Media Technology Specialist. Her career includes 20+ years of establishing partnerships and creating educational content and interactive learning experiences. Her drive stems from creating programming opportunities that help underrepresented people gain access to resources.
In Ontario, Sherisse has been involved in Ampere Association’s initiatives, including the Scratch Foundation (Scratch Educational Collaborative), the Brain Injury Association of Peterborough Region & Whitby Public Library, the Digital Skills For Youth Program, and more. She has worked with various organizations to develop educational content for children and adults. She provides partnership consultations, learning strategies, curriculum development, training, and facilitation experiences for learners of all ages at Ampere Association (Canada Learning Code).
Sherisse has a Bachelor of Arts in Adult Education & Digital Technology from Ontario Tech University. She is passionate about leveraging educational technologies to help provide transformational opportunities for the advancement of all people. Her family and colleagues say her superpower is creating exciting experiences that help learners feel comfortable and empowered when using digital technology.
